Are you interested in having neo standard ship sets for the star trek ship sets I have developed? I did not get any feed back on the topic eariler and I would like to know if I should continue to invest the time in making as many of my sets neo standard as possible.
The poll results are important, so even if you don't know pleast vote.
Go HERE (http://www.astmod.com/nasy/neostandard.htm) to see the neo standard ships I have already completed.

What I want to know is who the two persons are who voted "no". They need to schedule an attitude adjustment session with Taz. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Um, being the 3rd person to vote "no"
My reason is I don't play enough to really need them so maybe I should not have voted.
I'll have my secratary talk to Taz's secretary to make an appt.

Thank you all for voting and posting comments. I am attempting to judge the interest at this point. I have completed a few of the sets but feel that the time I have invested thus far might be better used else where in my life. If the interest was great enough I was planing on finishing them all up as soon as I could. If not, I would release the ones I have done at this point and work on the rest when I get time.
Thanks again for your votes and comments. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

I say hell no, don't waste your time. I mean what better things have you got to do then make ship sets for a game? Why invest the effort just to make people happy? Whats the point to it? Sure I would like to have the extra ship images, but I don't really care if I get them or not. After all, how many mods and people really use or care about this Neo-standard classification any ways?
If you make them, then great, if not, no skin off of my back.

Almost all mods use the Neostandard, actually. Devnull does, Proportions does, P&N, Adamant, Ultimate Vehicle Sizes, etc. Many people care about it.

With all these mods which use it, Neostandard is really a plus for a shipset, anyone should agree with that.

Hmmm. I still do not know the difference from them I have D/L a few sets also as long as they run and look good (I do not know IF I can make any) my hat is off to those that do...as to time invested...R/L has a way of kicking you in the pants when it's needed.

I voted for yes. You do a great job at most of the races. I say most of the races because I really don't like the Borg you've done. The baseship isn't very cool. But the Huge and Massive fighters of the Breen sure rock!
Sorry for the citisism but it's a matter of taste.
I say keep up the good work.
P.S. The ugly baseship of the Borg isn't the only reason I don't like your Version of the Borg.
Edit: YEHAA!! 600 Posts!! I made promotion! Wait untill I tell my girlfriend about this. The only thing she will do is raising her eyebrown and question my sanity.

They are used in mods (and a large number of them at that). You will not notice a difference between a "standard" ship set and a "neostandard" ship set in the unmodded game, unless you make baseships. But, you will definitely notice the difference in mods. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

I can alter the baseship as I do not like it either.
