Can I only create planets out of Asteroid Belts? What values will the created planet have, the same as the Asteroid belt or exact the half? What about the seize of the belt.. Will a planet of a tiny asteroid belt always be a tiny planet? And will a huge Asteroid belt formed to a planet with a Gravity Sphere I be only a medium planet or will it not work?

The created planet will be the minimum of the asteroid field size, and the maximum size the component can create.

If you form a huge field into a medium planet (using the low tech component), blowing it up again will create only a medium asteroid field.

The planet values will be identical to the values of the asteroids.

I personally never like to mine asteroids because the value reduction makes it take longer to repair the planets to perfect after they've been terraformed.

So, I will say emphatically, YES! Make that world a planet, and enjoy its magnificent bounty for all time using facilities.
