Curious? conquest

Hiya SE players, I am still new to the forums and game--but have been having a great time with it. I have a question--is there a mod, AI, or way to make the AI conquer planets using troops???-in all the games ive been playing so far--they only destroy planets--and recolonize them if they can. I always conquer planets with troops--saves time and expense--hehehe--just wondered why the AI doesnt..Thanks .

Many of the TDM Modpack races will capture planets. See the sticky threads at the top for links.

Watch out, though. TDM (http://invirtuo.cc/phpwiki/index.php/TDM-Modpack) is more than just AI that will land Troops. It is AI ready to deliver a quick kick to your aft panels in ways the stock AI just can't.
