If someone is searching for nice examples of spaceships to make a shipset, maybe this site will help.
It takes us back a few years, but it's still a game I would die (well, not for real of course) for to play.

Except SEIV, of course http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

I dug a little bit further and look what I've found:

I haven't had time to read much, but it seems the site is still being updated, maybe te early beginnings to continue this beautiful project. Keep your fingers crossed.

Is there a way we can help promote the site? It might be very beneficial to us maybe if we can do something...heck i wouldnt really know though

The problem wouldn't be with these guys, but with B5's license holder (Warner Bros). Evidently they are getting pretty stingy. The company that held the B5 license for paper & miniature games (Agents of Gaming) had that license yanked Last fall, and they had to close their doors.

Well, AoG still exists, but they aren't allowed to produce the gaming books for B5 anymore.

On the site there is a message (right on the first page you get to see) calling for cold hard cash. well, I'm not greedy, but I am causious. So I won't do it, but this is (I think) one of the few ways to help them. If they attract enough publicity (banners, conversation, links) they might get a visit from a publisher (or they are at least in a better position to do business with a publisher).

Oh, ouch. Well, good thing I keep semi-regular contact with AgentOne from them. Damn shame they had to close their doors.

there is a B5 game in developement along the same lines as Into The FIre but a hell of a lot better graphically and gameplay wise, its called I Found Her, i know its a wierd name but u have to read the story line, which is very good might i add, behind the game to understand it http://ifh.firstones.com/ Its an independent game and its freeware (YAY) so they have no issues with the companies who know rights to B5.

For more screenshots follow the link above.

I've played freespace 1 & 2 and they're real fun. Haven't tried the B5 ver but a friend of mine has and he says it's really impressive. Especially when the capital ships beams starts!

it is fantastic...

Unfortantly my freespace 2 cd died on me... ( yea I know I do not back it up at the time )

And since it is no longer available i have a lovely dead cd , box , and manual....

Grrrrrrrrr.....

Now if anyknows where i can legally get a replacement that would be great as the company has offered no help on this one.
