I really like the Ticon pictures, they look very organic and cool. The carriers and larger ships are amazing. They seem like an amphibious or aquatic race from the portrait.

The Pyrexia look more like a more militaristic Version of the pandorans. I like what i think are the engines as well. Some of the ships remind me of the Y Wings from star wars as well, i really like all the guns and weaponary. Very good work as usual http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

I will add more ships to the page later. The completed sets will be up for use soon.

I will also post the completed neo-standard ship sets for the Star Trek Races that I have finished.

I have also redone several of the Borg images. I hated many of them and wanted to fix them.

The Daily Splurge

Shipset pensioner raided in tax-dodge scam scandal.

Police carried out a dramatic raid this morning at the Portland home of celebrated shipset artist Atrocities, in connection with an alleged pension tax-scam. One person was arrested, and various graphics files and software seized for examination by experts.

SEIV relationship-support helplines were flooded with calls in April when the well-known Trekkie publicly and contraversially retired from shipset creation in April. However, it is now alleged that Atrocities has continued to produce shipsets in his retirement, while still claiming his pension and all the associated tax benefits.

Mr. Atrocities' accountant and the Portland SEIV Investigatory Body remain unavailable for comment.

PCP, I really like the looks of the Ticon fleet, and the Pyrexia ships truly look like war ships.

What are you going to do about the un-named blue race? That ship set is good as well, and you should give it a name. Also I recall you were working on a bird like set a while back, are you still working it?

What about the neo-standard star trek sets? Are they on hold or what?

And watch out for the Lawyers, if you get one who's lost a love one to SEIV, your screwed!

I believe they are called War stations for the neostandard, and the expected size is between battlestation and starbase.

I have always wondered how many of my designs end up being used by RPG's and such, well I now have my answer. People who design images for game companies, or are illustrators for tv shows or movies are always scowering the net for concept works and ideas. I just found out that one of the designers for many of the Decipher RPG Star Trek Games lives near me, in the same town. That came as a shock.

Not saying he has ever taken any of my ideas and used them, but I know others have. I think everyone who has ever designed anything has a feeling of dread that his or her work will be hijacked and used by someone else to make money. Oh well, that is life. I make ship images for this game because I enjoy doing it and I hope, as I am sure most ship set developers do, that people enjoy them and use them often.

The ships I created for use with the Star trek races, namily the Dominion, Hirogen, Andorian, Son'a, and Cardassian consist mostly of one of kind images that I had to create to round off the set. Sure there are images inspired by other images, and thank god for them, but many of the images I use came from my own sick and twisted imagination. It is very gratifying to see something come together that for the most part was just a flicker of an idea in your minds eye. I can see how doing this for a living could be very rewarding.

How Aaron could come up with 21 ship sets for this game impresses the hell out of me. I hope that in SE V, there is room for many more.
