First: Drones. How good the AI handles them, and should i be putting ANY weapons on 'em? are plague drones are good for anti-planet ones?

IMO drones are not very useful for the AI, the only exception may be psychic races with an allegiance subverter on anti-ship drones.

I've noticed they rarely ever go and build ships over 600kt. In fact I havn't seen a battleship yet and it's been 40 turns since i first saw the first battlecruisers. I'm no good at AI modding but i think there is no design over 600kt in the design creation. And i think maybe some battleship entries to take advantage of the next mount up, these should be built sparingly however if you can mod that.
So far they're wiping the floor with Atrocities United Consortium of Planets with their smaller designs but the UCP has just researched dreadnoughts and the tide in the war seems to be changing. They also expand rather slowly so maybe focus on that. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Re: shipsizes - i've emphasized the BC size because then i thought its optimal, now i know the Battleship is amongst the best sizes. The SC techs 7 and up are quite far in the tech file. Bad idea.
Expansion is bad, yes. Im thinking around that now. Also realize they have Ice/CO2 so this is also a problem. I still like it though http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

hmm, realy, the expansion is an issue - perharps someone can share their secrets for making the AI expand far and fast?
EDIT: perharps Alpha Kodiak would happen to look in? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif the Vaxin are realy good

It's got to be easy - make AI build more colony ships ! Either decrease "entry per planet" or raise "must have"
As to the rarity of Ice CO2 planets , that' no problem. Look into Space Vikings files. They are Ice O2 but breed like Xi'Chung http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Tip: Use BA with many organic armors. These designs worked superb with the Aquilaeian...

i see. okay http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif but isnt it more worthwhile to construct more numerous CR-BS sizes for organic races?

I did my tests and it worked superb against other AIs...
Think you should make your own test and decide.
