So Richard: are you asking whether I've got an audio CD player (software) installed? Yes I do (sonique I think); are you saying that that prevents the CD from playing? I'll play with that and see....

No music for me either, and other games work just fine. Yes, I've applied the 1.11 patch, and yes I have CD music enabled. My CD player isn't anything exotic at all, and as I said I've never had...
