I may have figured out part of why it was happening. I think the dwarf lord was wearing a magical item that gave him the "immortal" ability or trait or what have you. He had the same symbol that...

It doesn't make any sense...
So with all the talk of CoE3 being in development, I got the itch, if you know what I mean.
It took me a couple games to remember how everything worked, but then I was on a roll... until I fought...
