Generally, your arrow-repellent squad (the one taking fire from the enemy) should request friendly...

I did use them, and they worked really well in groups of three. I had to make a couple tweaks:

forge ring of lightning resist - my bodyguards weren't keeping enough cavalry, wolves, flying, etc...

To create underwater castles, you can cast a montly ritual, Living Castle (4N 1W + 50N gems). You need an underwater breathing mage to build a lab at the planned site first.

Capitals do not have magic sites in addition to those of the nation/theme. I believe the only troop available for other nations is the hydra hatching.

There are a few summoned units that cost upkeep (ex. trolls - quite a bit of gold too).

The zealots and militia definately cost upkeep. The 'lucky' militia are a common complaint here on the...

Research bonus w enemy dominion, using ulm smiths

I'm playing Ulm, with Drain 3. Smiths in capital have 5 research points stock, no change with drain 3 as expected. At another castle, dominion -3, magic 2, smiths have 7 rp and smiths with 1exp...

Um, I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but you are able to right click the units listed in the gift of reason display to get a better look at the unit on which you'll be spending your 20 nature gems.

Are you playing the P&N mod campaigns 2 or3? If you are and get these errors (most people do), I would suggest waiting for a fixed Version and sticking with campaign 1, the stock game, or another...

I play both MP and SP. Obviously there are quite a number of path boosters and for the most part they are all a better value then empowerment. It just seems that it takes at least 2, sometimes 4 or...
