Difference in AI difficulty levels

Well, if the Freak Lord can be called largely useless, I suppose there's no reason to make it size 6 and trampling.

As for Moloch, it's already extremely powerful, even without giving it trampling...

You might not want to use a freak for combat, but you CAN -- and it CAN trample, that's what's important, really.

PD essentially represents feudal/provincial levies, hence you can have "national" troops in recently conquered provinces, representing local lords/ex-governors adapting to their new masters.

The question is whether it is really a viable possibility for a demon (or a Shedu) to bleed to death. These are not "living" units, being products of magical energies beyond the mortal plane...

Why not just pick a Red Dragon? You get a great "static" Pretender in the form of a sage plus a flying fire-breathing killing machine that can take out entire armies with ease.
