Re: Is there a successor to the dead Yahoo Groups?

Actually, worse my gentlemen - I've enrolled on PhD studies in law, and I am currently teaching students full time. All this academic research means I have little time and energy to dig thru Mobhack,...

Re: spob38 Hungary

Hungarian army did use Steilgranate HEAT attachment. I have photos from polish book "Siedmiogrod 1944" (Siebenburgen 44) showing Hungarian 37mm ATGs and Nimrod SPAA fitted with Steilgranate.

Finland OOB

Unit 013 BT-8 has wrong class - assault gun, resulting in it appearing in StuG (Ryynntyki) formations. All BT-8 Finns had (4 of them) were used together with BT-5 and BT-7 in one battalion. StuGs...

Re: Very (too much ?) effective AT Rifles

A9 has rather pathetic armour (10-20mm), quite an easy kill for AT-rifle. Remember that ATRs were accurate enough to target weak spots - sights, muzzles, etc... Finns used their ATRs with great...

Re: \"Z\" - fire

I use "Z" fire when firing flamethrowers and high-calibre direct fire guns, especially when targetted hex contains multiple squads. Flamethrowers make urban combat sooo much easier......

Re: Nazi German OOB

Another one:

I am under very strong impression that SPA batteries (Wespe, Hummel) had 6 guns unlike standard battery size of 4.

Suggest making new unit - offboard SPA batteries each made up of...

Currently the Slovak OOB runs up until 1943. While presence of Slovak units fighting alongside Germans ended in 1943, the Slovak army did not vanish into thin air, and in 1944 several units of it...

Well, we have a history with Chuck, he used to troll the Yahoo SP groups for some few good years. Always with the same problem - he had a "vision" of changes needed to be made and when that vision...

Re: Nazi German OOB

Well an additional class for ground attack planes would help a lot in some OOBs - Germans could go with a class for "cheapskates COIN" planes such as Hs-123, Hs-126 (not in game btw) and Fw-189.

- StuIG 33. Basically a StuG III with 15cm IG. 24 used in Stalingrad and Winter Storm

- SiG II Bison. Again...
