I've been using my Great Mother as a combat leader - generally she casts a couple of spells then charges into the fray

currently playing with this setup in four PBEM games and all my solo...

do AI-controlled pretenders always use the same game settings?

ie. if I'm playing as Ulm I can alter my pretender and dominion settings to make the game play quite differently - if I set Ulm to AI...

I just ordered Dom II a second time (for a friend) and it cost me approximately AU$69...

is there a definitive Beginners Guide to SE4 anywhere on-line? I've found a lot of seemingly useful tips on the big fansites but no step-by-step guide.
