A question for Fyron, sort of...
In the Readme.txt of the ModWorks Capturable Racial Techs Concept Mod, an example is given to create an Organic Engineering tech area, as well as an Organic Technology tech area and anOrganic Weapons tech area. Another example lists an Organic Racial Trait tech area.
These examples cited, my question is this - Is this a procedure I'd have to duplicate for EVERY racial trait (or Masters-type trait), or is this unique to Organic?
While I am generally addressing this to Fyron (it's his work I'm asking about), for anyone who wants to help or has an answer, feel free to reply...(lol)

Re: A question for Fyron, sort of...
Actually, the example is to modify the existing techs, not necessarily to create any new ones. All that really needs doing is setting the applied racial techs to have no racial area. For example, you have:
Organic Engineering
| ---> Organic Technology
| ---> Organic Weapons
In stock, all 3 techs are racial techs. Organic Engineering is a theory tech, and it needs to remain racial so that you still need the trait to research the techs in the first place. But to make the applied techs capturable, all you need to do is set their Racial Area fields to 0.

Re: A question for Fyron, sort of...
So if I understand this correctly, the Organic Engineering remains untouched, but Organic Technology and Organic Weapons would have to have their Racial Area fields set to zero.
I'm assuming this would be true for the other as well.
BTW, thanx for bearing with me here. While I'm not new to the game, I am waaaaaaaay new to the whole modding thing. It's a bit like learning to walk again, figuring how this all works (lol).
