adding home made race

Adding the new star wars home made race pictures and ships i ran into a little problem. its seems that the game dosnt want to recognize any of the pictures. Can anyone help me with that? i have put the pictures and files in the race folder in the game. . .They all seem to be the right .bmp files.

when i click on new game and then new race it says. . ."cannot load (insert picture file here)" what could be the problem? what am i doing wrong?

While they are brilliantly done pics, the author didn't do a very good job of how to install them. (And he used a html file for the readme, which is not so nice).

Basically, you need to create the proper directories in the \races folder to put them in.

The name of the sub folder (in the races folder) has to have the same name as the first part of the graphic names. For the rebels, it's 'SW-REB'. For Blacksun, it's 'SW-BS'. For the Empire sets, it's 'SW-EMP1', 'SW-EMP2', and 'SW-EMP3'

Once you put them in the proper folders, they'll show up in the game along with the default graphics the game came up with. No need to do anything in the game itself...

He's exactly right... the folder must be named correctly, because it will use the folder name to look for those pictures.
