Default Mod File Editor & Syntax Scheme [Freeware ]

I would like to recommend you Ulli Meybohms Freeware Editor "Proton".

It's freeware, it can write files in UNIX format as the DOM mod files are, it's available in english and

I have done a syntax scheme for it.

Simply add it to the "syntaxschemes" folder, and the line
dm=Illwinters DOM2 Mod Language Syntax Scheme
to the extensions.ini at the same place.

It's still in the works, so it's quite simple up to now. I'll upload more elaborate Version if there's interest in them - and I can figure out more of the syntex. Sadly documentation for the .sch files is non-existant.

hope this is helpful
A.

As there seems to be some problem with unzipping the files from Ullies site, I did a standard ZIP package.
