Default Demo a little boring

I kinda want to get this game but I play the demo and it's just kinda boring. I mean i fly around I blow ships up and take a few components and the missions are just about the same. Is there anything more to it in the full Version?

I bought the full Version for christmas and i have to admit i wasn't Overly Impressed like i was with SEIV, but i enjoy this game still.

However, the possibilities for mods for this game are endless. Plus once you get to Campaign 3 with the Sithrak...well things really start to hot up. I think the story that you follow is really well done in the game.

The missions vary slightly, although if you're bored in the demo then maybe you won't enjoy the full Version. But the new ships and everything are beautiful, especially the Abbidon!

Maybe it's not for everyone, but i like this game, it might not live up to SEIV Gold, but it's still a great addition to the SE Universe.

Anyway, this game has huge potential for me to write stories about!

I just wish that Aaron had come up with new names for the races that look nothing like what they did in SE4... series continuity is important. :-\

IIRC the problem there is the 3d models for the Space Empires IV ships were lost.

So it was either make new ships or make new races, and the latter would mean that they wouldn't be familiar to SE4 players AND you wouldn't see those races in SEV.
