Default USN Helos in USMC OOB

In the current USMC OOB we have:

Unit #106 SH-2 Sea Sprite (1/87-12/95) Atk Helo
Unit #107 SH-2 Sea Sprite (1/06-12/20) Atk Helo
Unit #113 UH-2 Sea Sprite (1/81-12/20) Lt Helo

Information:
UH-2A SAR - 88 built (operational deployment 1962)
UH-2B SAR - 108 built
UH-2C SAR - All 2A/2B upgrade to T58 engines in 1968
HH-2C SAR - Armed with minigun in a chin-mounted turret (6 conversions)
HH-2D SAR - No armament or armor - 67 conversions from 2A/2B (available 12/71)
SH-2D ASW - 20 conversions from earlier models
SH-2F ASW/LAMPS - All but 2 H-2s remanufactured into SH-2Fs (available 1973-10/83)
SH-2G ASW Super Seasprite (available 1991-06/01 - used ONLY by Reserve units)

If you wish to keep them in OOB I'd suggest:
The correct name is "Seasprite" not "Sea Sprite"
Make all Radio Code 91 (or 93)

Unit #106 SH-2D Seasprite (4x TOW #157 - UC #221 Lt Atk Helo) 01/72-12/73
Unit #107 SH-2F Seasprite (4x TOW #158 - UC #221 Lt Atk Helo) 01/74-10/83
Unit #113 HH-2C Seasprite (1x MG #174 - UC #222 COIN Helo) 01/68-12/72

####################
In the current USMC OOB we have:

Unit #108 SH-3 Sea King (1/69-12/71) Hv Helo
Unit #109 CH-3E JG Giant (12/65-6/94) Hv Helo
Unit #167 HH-3 Sea King (1/61-12/80) Hv Helo
Unit #168 HH-3 Sea King (1/81-12/20) Hv Helo
Unit #909 SH-3 Sea King (1/72-12/94) Hv Helo

Information:
SH-3A Sea King ASW - 255 built (operational deployment 09/61 as HSS-2)
Provisions for 2 door guns

HH-3A Sea King CSAR - 26 or 28 passenger - 12 converted from SH-3A
T58-GE-8F engines, refuelling system, rescue hoist, upgraded avionics, external auxiliary fuel tanks and armour.
A version of the TAT-102 designed specifically for use on the HH-3A mounted a M134 Minigun in a fully traversable turret. Two such turrets were mounted on sponsons, one on each side of the aircraft. The complexity and questionable performance in the environment led to them being removed in favor of more conventional door mounted weaponry.

RH-3A Sea King MSW - 9 converted from SH-3A

CH-3E Jolly Green Giant (USAF) (02/66)
Engine change from 969kW T58-GE-1s to 1119kW T58-GE-5S, armour, self-sealing fuel tanks, retractable inflight-refuelling probe, rescue hoist and 12.7mm door-guns
Replaced by HH-60

SH-3D Sea King ASW - 73 built 2 converted from SH-3A (1967)
Replace 932kW T58-GE-8B engines with T58-GE-10

SH-3G Sea King Util - 105 converted from SH-3A/3D
Six equipped with minigun pods for SAR missions.

UH-3H Sea King Util - ? converted from SH-3G (retired 01/06)
T58-GE-10 engines, later converted for ASW as the SH-3H

SH-3H Sea King ASW - 150 converted from SH-3A/3D (retired 01/06)
Replaced by the SH-60 Sea Hawk for ASW (mid 90's)

If you wish to keep them in OOB I'd suggest:
Make all Radio Code 91 (or 93)

Unit #108 SH-3G Sea King (2x MG #174 - UC #221 Hv Helo) 01/69-12/71
Unit #109 CH-3E JG Giant (3x HMG #175 - UC #221 Hv Helo) 02/66-03/90
Unit #167 HH-3A Sea King (2x MiniGun #192 - UC #221 Hv Helo) 07/63-12/68
Unit #168 UH-3H Sea King (2x MiniGun #192 - UC #221 Hv Helo) 01/81-01/06
Unit #909 UH-3H Sea King (2x MG #174 - UC #221 Hv Helo) 01/72-12/80

It's size between the CH-46 and CH-53 so possibly change from Hv Helo to regular Helo

Don
Actually I took that into account.

Heavy helos AREN'T used for combat lift into HOT LZ's by the USMC. They're used as flying trucks.

The various USN helos mentioned are SAR/ASW choppers, and thus not something even remotely intended to be used for normal airlift operations.

OK, so please explain to me the logic and benefit of making a Sea King a "Light Attack Helicopter" ----that's what UC 221 is---Hvy Helo is 205? I have no intention of doing so but it was your recomendation to make them 221 and I'd like to know how you decided this was the better way to handle them. I guessed the first time you wrote down the wrong UC but this answer you gave above clears nothing up
