Shere / Ringworlds in SEV

I tried to construct an shereworld today , but it didn't ork.
So can somebody please explain me how to acomplish this in SEV.

I constructed some 2000 kt bases with the core/cable and plating components next to an 1 star system, but didn't work.

please help ?!!??

Found it already, and it worked. Although it took me some turns to get the baseships to construct it (something with clicking the edge of the star of something, is fixed in patch 1.17 I just read)
