Highly visible german upgrade - command cupola. Russian T34/76 had no command cupola. Command cupola mean that tank probably got full upgrade suit - german optics and radio too. If the tank was captured in the summer, and drowned in september does that mean the upgrade was made in some kind of field facility?

Starting from T-34/76 model 1943 Russians also began to mount their own commanders cupolas to T-34's. Not all T-34 m43's had the cupola just the late production models. Looking at that picture the cupola looks like the Russian design to me...
