Default Combat Simultor Bug??

When I use the simlator, and match one of my ships up against the AI's, and my empire "flag" colour is red, and the AI's is green, the AI's ship is red, and i can't fight in the simulator because I can't fight red against red.
Anyone experience this?

Also, when I use the "Move to" command to two systems distance away, it doesn't work sometimes.

not quite sure what you mean here. you cant fight red against red, but im not sure what you are saying? you want to have a 3 way with green VS red VS red? pick a third color, like blue. or do you mean that you are picking green for a race and it is showing up as red?

as for the move to, be carefull that you are not selecting something in between. it is easiest if you select the ship, change to the desired system, then click move-to and click the target (instead of going: ship -- move to -- change system -- click target)

So, ummm... what happens if I select something in between (which I usually do: ship - move - system - target destination)?

I've had a problem with moving long distances. Is this like your problem?
I overcame it by giving mulitple moves, move to then move to then move to or attack etc. You should be able to give as many of these as you want.

sometimes it seems to de-select the ship when you do that, and the orders dont get entered. are your ships not getting orders, or just not following them?
