Default What should be added to the newbie guide...

I think the experienced players can help the newbs a lot by posting the following 2 things:

1. What scales they usually choose for different nations and why.

2. What is the progression of magic research (that is, what magic school and up to what levels do you research and then switch to another magic school) and why.

It doesn't have to be long. Thanks in advance.
