Default A Review of the CD Version...

Got my WinSPMBT CD in the mail, and I've been playing around with it a bit; will be posting several reviews and photos of how the extra features look and work.

First Question:
"Is it really worth paying for the resolution increase"?

Main Game Opening Screen in 800x600 (DL)

Main Game Opening Screen in 1280x1024 (CD; Native resolution of my LCD Monitor)

Battle screen in 800x600(DL)

Battle Screen in 1280x1024 (my LCD Native Resolution; CD)

The Image sizes are so huge because they're 255 color GIFs to retain the image quality. You can make your own opinion on the usefulness of higher resolutions from that.

More posts will occur as I map out the differences.

One of the main selling points for myself - here is the desktop view in windowed mode on my Dell (native 1280 by 1024).

Game plays perfectly well, and you have access to the windows task bar, and you can even see what time it is, plus be advised of new emails etc.

Cheers
Andy

That's actually pretty cool Andy. I'll have to try that on my laptop too.
