Default ASTMod Missing planets problem (again)

I have installed the image mod files and have renamed newplanets to planets as well as components and facilities. This has not solved my problem. The game plays fine until I encounter a planet which is not displayed in the main window (merely just an asterix). When I click on it...I get an error message saying that one of the planet images can not be loaded.
Not sure whats gone wrong.
Suggestions guys?

You might have an older Version of the planet pack..hmm. Where did you install it to? Space Empires IV/Pictures/planets right?

Does it happen with components? I remember that if you don't do the mod a certain way, you (the mod author) can end up making "null planets". So it might be a bug in AST mod.

I installed it into SEIV\AST\Pictures. Are you supposed to install it to SEIV\Pictures?

You know, questions like this are answered in the READMEs that come in mods.

You should install the image mod into the default pictures folder, so it will be used by all mods that need it. That way, you don't have to reinstall it for every mod that uses it.

However AST/Pictures/planets should work as well..you did install it into that folder and not AST/pictures/, right?
