Default Special cargo missions impossible?

I tried to create a special cargo mission, that would be triggert by an event: execute job Xiati 1. Xiati 1 would be a normal cargo job but with specified target and cargo.
The job is however displayed as: "Load cargo at planet X".
This is done automatically in normal cargo jobs and of course the specified cargo is not present.
What is wrong???
I tried the event "Add Player Cargo" to help but here I don't know what the third parameter "Job Event ID" is supposed to do. I tried to insert here the job (Xiati 1) but then the game crashes with the error message that "Xiati 1 is not an integer".
Any ideas??

Can you post the actual job text?

And if you still have the demo, be aware that a LOT of the modding capability is disabled there.

One of the first things I did to find the cause was to copy a standard cargo mission job and make it event triggert. It creates the random job as expected but again no cargo is loaded and in the job list says you must load cargo X at the present location. Therefore it is not the job itself but the event triggering that causes the problem. You should be able to reproduce this without any special job file.
And no, I got the full game now at version 1.15.
I made now the job for one special site available only and created this new site for the planet I wanted. This works. However if the player does not accept this job, the game story will then of course not continue.
One very basic event I miss in starfury is a "players choice": give two or more options which the player can choose and that will lead to different further game stories. And a "NOT" condition for triggers would be very helpful too.

I'll see if I can replicated it later, then.

Players choice can be arranged by telling the player to go to two different locations depending on which mission he wants to accept- going to one disables the other.

That is true but it is a little bit clumsy and sometimes not so easy to create a plausible storyline around it. Furthermore the player can delay the decision as long as he wants.

Time limited missions. Its not perfect, but its better than nothing.

What about a combat?

Have two fleets of equal strength, and make the player decide which one to help, thus tipping the balance, and diverting the storyline to make the player allied with one of the two powers.

That is the situation where a "choice trigger" would be needed.
Now the only option as Phoenix-D pointed out would be:
"Fly to planet A if you would help race A or fly to planet B if you want to help race B" and then change the allies list accordingly. But the player could still do nothing, wait and see who wins!

If the player just waits, then they are giving up their choice to a coin flip.
Or you could make one side be stronger, so the player has to work hard to make the underdogs win and thus drive the plot off into the "bonus" branch.
