Default Soviet OOB help

I'm working on a new campaign and I need some detailed information regarding the Soviet 48th Motor Rifle Division stationed in Czechoslovakia in the 1980's. Not equipment stuff but the numbering of the regiments, battalions, etc. I need this to make my briefing texts as accurate as possible.

This is what I have been able to find so far:

a. Division Headquarters – Vysoke Myto
b. 265th Guards Motorized Regiment (BMP) – Vysoke Myto
c. 210th Motorized Regiment (BTR) – Olomouc
d. 333rd Motorized Rifle Regiment (BTR) – Česká Třebová
e. 375th Tank Regiment – *umperk
f. 585th Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment – Klášterec nad Orlic*
g. 716th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment – Červená Voda
h. Unidentified Independent Missile Battalion (SS-21) – (to 441st Missile Brigade in 1989)
i. 55th Independent Tank Battalion – *umperk
j. 258th Independent Anti-Tank Artillery Battalion – Klášterec nad Orlic*
k. 31st Independent Reconnaissance & Radio-EW Battalion – Vysoké Mýto
l. 813th Independent Guards Signals Battalion – Vysoké Mýto
m. 118th Independent Engineer-Sapper Battalion – Vysoké Mýto
n. 88th Independent Repair-Reconstruction Battalion – Vysoké Mýto
o. 308th Unidentified Independent Chemical Defense Battalion – Vysoké Mýto
p. 34th Independent Medical-Sanitation Battalion – Vysoké Mýto
q. 909th Independent Material Support Battalion – Vysoké Mýto

Technics and arms of divisions

Technics and the arms of divisions TsGV varied depending on development and equipment of the Soviet army as a whole. We will give here the review of technics and arms of divisions TsGV from the moment of input of troops and on 1991

Tanks

A part TsGV divisions were armed with tanks T-62 and T-55. In a current of first two years of existence TsGV all T-55 have been replaced on T-62. In the late seventies in group tanks T-72A began to arrive. Replacement proceeded long enough - still in 1982 on arms 31 tank divisions stood tanks T-62. The next years there was a continuous process of replacement T-72A on T-72M1. By 1988 the basic unit of tank park made T-72M1. In the spring of 1988 in 15 гв. Tank and 18 гв. A motorised-rifle division tanks T-72B1 (the picture in the page beginning see) began to arrive. However process has not been finished because of withdrawal of troops.

BMP, BTR

Originally in divisions were available BTR-60 the first series and BTR-152, and also BTR-40. Have in the seventies started to arrive BTR-60PB, BRDM-2 and BMP-1. To the middle 80 in TsGV more modern arrive BTR-70 and BMP-2. There are data about receipt in 1989-90 BTR-80.

At the moment of creation TsGV the artillery of divisions consisted from towed 122 mm of howitzers D-30. In the seventieth years in a division self-propelled artillery installations have started to arrive: 122 mm 2S1 "Gvozdika" and 152 mm 2S3 "Akatsiya". On arms of motorised-rifle batallions there were 120 mm mortar complexes 2S12 "Sani" with transport car on the basis of GAZ-66

Except usual artillery on arms artillery regiments in TsGV there were jet systems of volley fire BM-21 "Grad" on the basis of car Ural 375D.

Anti-tank means

In motorised-rifle regiments were on arms ATGM 9M14 Malyutka on the basis of BRDM-2, in separate anti-tank divisions on arms there were 100 mm anti-tank guns MT-12, ATGM 9M111 "Fagot" or 9M113 "Konkurs".

Air defence weapons

In anti-aircraft missile regiments TsGV stood on arms AA 2K12 Kub which have been added in the eightieth years AA 9K33 "Osa". In tank and motorised-rifle regiments were available AA 9K31 "Strela-1" which since 1981 began to be replaced AA 9K35 Strela-10. Besides were available SAM "Strela-2", in second half 80th years began to be replaced on SAM "Igla"

Besides missiles air defence weapons on arms of divisions TsGV were AA self-propelled ZSU-23-4 "Shilka" and antiaircraft installations ZU-23-2.

The tactical rocket weapon

In the seventies on arms of separate rocket divisions of divisions TsGV there were complexes 9K52 "Luna-M" (Frog-7). In the beginning 80 the new complex 9K79 "Tochka" (SS-21 Scarab) has arrived on arms.
