Starhawk, not sure of your age or monetary status, but This Site (http://www.icdsoft.com/) is where I host my 2 sites and I have never been disappointed (AT ALL!). I don't recall the site ever being unavailable. I think if you pay all at once, it's $50 a year. Cheaper might be had but read the reviews on this hoster at This place (http://www.webhostingRatings.com/).
Otherwise, run the search and see what turns up on the web. Then ask for people's comments on it is another possibility.

For small things, I can put it up on imagemodserver... Not a whole webpage, of course, but a few well-compressed images are no problem.

Check out WebHostingTalk.com (http://www.webhostingtalk.com).
What sort of hosting do you need, specifically?

Free services are basically self destructive. If they are good, then they become popular, then they need to upgrade, then they have to become something else or fail. Banner ads, popup ads, spyware installs, pay for use, or worse.
I put up my own server on my DSL and now host sites for me and my friends. Not as much hassle and no ISP limits.
Another alternative is; split your site. If you have a web page space from your ISP but it wont let you do alot, then put up a page anyway. Find free places to put the big stuff and just link to it. That way you can move around on the free sites as they come and go, but the page you send people to wont change.

A shipset is no problem.
Might as well email it to hohoho611@hotmail.com if its small enough.
Be sure to tell me when you do, since I don't regularily check that address.

Or did you mean more of a shipset preview page? That could be arranged...
The site also hosts hundreds of shipsets in downloadable format. When ready, email it to admin_spaceempires_net (insert @ and . in place of _) and I will post it in the database.
