Ulm\'s Concession

Klaus, the FrostFather, failed to swing his sword. My bad...I did not realize that if he had the Boots of the Behemoth he would do NOTHING but trample. So Ember remained unused.

In his final...

Marverni will be the winner. In almost all categories (provinces, income, gem income, Dominion) he has as much as the rest of us combined. And most especially Research...how many Level 9 Schools...

Ulmish Updates

I've beaten myself...had a GOOD chance to kill the TC pretender and instead split my forces. I had a mage set to cast Flaming Arrows and thought it would be good enough, but for whatever reason he...

Re: And Then There Were Five

The battles this turn were won by Ulm, but the losses were fairly even. TC still has a vast superiority in numbers...even losses = bad!

Beautifully done, my friend! Even against an alliance (three against Fomoria) the Giants pull it out! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/shock.gif

This was my first game and the...

48 Hour Timer

I'd like to go to a 48 hour timer. We're over turn 30 and it's getting tricky to keep from staling.

Given the nature of llamaserver, most turns would still be quicker, but I'd really like the...

Re: Ulm Besieged

Much as I may dislike it, Donny is probably doing the right thing for TC. By the time he meets Abysia, they may be the last two standing, or at least it would be a three way free-fo-all.

On the...

Ulm Besieged

Although he had yet to be confirmed as the next Prophet, Raven Leader had worked hard to clean up the debacle left by his predecessor. The Advent of Klaus FrostFather was a great help to the...

Re: Bug thread

I'll send the current turn now. I did decide against Forging a helmet just yet; my Smiths were otherwise engaged. But can make it a priority next turn.

Did you want to see the next turn to check...

Re: Bug thread

Warenharis and the armor are in Province 51. At the start of the turn the Black Steel Full Plate was on an Ulmish commander, same area.

Happy to send where to whomever you want me to. I'll save...

Variation on a theme...Affliction (missing arm) and item slots:

Warenharis is missing an Arm. No big thing, gave him a single handed weapon and soldiered on. All other slots and items (just his...

Abysian Waterloo...

Looks like you did unto Marverni what you did unto Ulm. We'll need to contact Wellington and arrange for a face-to-face at a little crossroads named Waterloo...after all, anything with Water in it...

Ulm less than Triumphant

Never play a turn when you have had a bad day and are tired.

Did everything wrong. KNEW an Abysian army was headed back to the Tir capital, but attacked anyway. Slaughter.

The other army was...

Re: To Siege or Pray about it...

Multi-taskers not allowed...guess only my Prophet will do the praying, after I strip him of all his troops.

Thanks much!

Will their troops continue to be applied to reducing the Fortress even if the Commanders are not set to...

Re: Luck and mind duels

All were Arco Astrologers...but they were two S4s and one S3. The lone S4 who won died the second time around (my Prophet).

So I lost a +2 Duel, then a +1, won a +2 and finally lost a +2. No...

Farewell from Arco.

And that's it. Although Arco's walls are not breached, the Army, Pretender and Prophet are all gone. I'll let Atlantis and Agartha fight over the carcass.

Now for griping......

Re: And Chaos Reigned...

Double-luck for Marverni, then. That was my strongest province; you would have been facing around 160 defenders, including more Steel Warriors than were in the actual battle.

If you'd lost that...

Re: And Chaos Reigned...

Too much chaos...I was VERY careful to ensure the attacks from all three provinces into Citala had no sneakers and that all was well. The last thing I did before hitting Turn End was to right click...

Magic Duel Variables

Just tried a Magic Duel in a Multi-player game, Primea. Started with an S4 Astrologer, made him the Master of four Communion Slaves. That put him at S6.

Took on an S2 Atlantean and lost. The...
