Re: Assailed by heroes

The game in question is on Turn 13. Mind control isn't an option.

Here's a little advice from his neighbor in that game:

The guy that snipes commanders does so with a bow. By turn 13 you...

Re: Immaculate-002: Late Age for Noobs (progressing through the early game)

Here's my take on things...

Provinces
The early game baseline is conquering one province per turn every turn starting on turn 2, so by turn 13 the baseline is 12 provinces. Now that becomes an...

Re: Global Enchantments and Quickness

I ran a couple of tests as EA T'ien Ch'i with a W9 pretender and observed the following behavior:

Test 1:
1x Master of the Way with a Longbow of Accuracy set to
bless, hold and firex4,...

Re: Global Enchantments and Quickness

No, unfortunately not. This is why a water bless for sacred archers is good in theory, but a bit bugged in practice. I beleive this problem is only with the quickness from bless, a commander with...

Global Enchantments and Quickness

Hey folks, I have a few questions I was wondering about which I can't seem to find the answer to here on the boards.

1) When you cast a global enchantment, do you get any sort of bonus for having...

Re: new NoooB Game, (Running)

T'ien Ch'i is running our new King Maker Special. We will forge, for anyone, artifacts. To our knowledge, we are the only people who have reached construction-8. However, we are certain that we are...

Re: new NoooB Game, (Running)

Communions are powerful and confusing, to be sure. Baalz wrote an excellent guide for them (http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=37499) which I would recommend for everyone to read at some...

Re: Morla LA noob game (running)

Don't get so cocky. You were lucky when my troops routed inches from your last surviving mages and you were lucky when your god woke up the turn before I left a greasy stain where your capital used...

Re: Morla LA noob game (running)

Ha! I see what you did there... because your god casts lightning! And has awe! Ohhh man... All snarkiness aside, you've handled your defense well. Kudos. But this war ain't over yet, punk.

Re: Llamaserver troubles

I think Llamaserver is having troubles again. MorlaMAnoob (http://www.llamaserver.net/gameinfo.cgi?game=MorlaMAnoob) has received a turn from every player but hasn't posted yet. And none of my other...

Are Shields Worthless against AN Attacks

If you are facing something that does AN damage, about the only thing you can do to prevent that damage (barring elemental immunity) is to not get hit. If the attack is ranged, a shield might help,...

Re: Morla LA noob game (running)

Tearing down Bogarus' walls and preparing to commit premeditated deicide when we get our moist hands on their god.

Why, what do you think we should be doing?

P.S.: Also, let us know if you...

Re: Pointy Sticks MA send Pretenders

I say we go ahead with just 9. The difference between 3 and 4 players (for example) is huge but the difference between 9 and 10 is pretty small.

Re: Immaculate-002: Late Age for Noobs (progressing through the early game)

Looking the rules (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marquess_of_Queensberry_Rules) I can safely say no, no we did not. For one, we used spears. And secondly, I don't the the Marquess of Queensberry would...

Re: Morla LA noob game (running)

Atlantis would like to congratulate Bogarus on being stubborn in the face of invasion. Our forces have rolled over them like a tidal wave, ruining all in their path... except the Bogarus capital....

Re: Pointy Sticks MA send Pretenders

I do hope the game will be under way soon. I'm itching to play Pythium in MP for the first time. And see how the new Ulm faction fairs.
