Question about Standard ability...

The rulebook says that "morale boosted by standards will be lowered by 1 per round". I'm confused by this... does this mean that it will be lowered by 1 per round if the standard-bearer is no longer...

Somewhat related follow-up question... are all of the touch spells more geared towards your Pretender than towards your mages? It seems like there are a lot of spells that would be suicide for mages...

Does anyone ever use hit and run tactics? For example, you get an army of archers, set them to attack a couple of times, and then the whole army splits. Basically, the point being not to wipe out...

AWESOME link! Wow, it's shocking to think of how little of this I would have guessed on my own. I was basically doing armored people front and center, mounted units front and sides, and missile...

Since they have a lot of stealth units, should I do some "sneak my army into their backyard" maneuvers, or are they likely to pick up on that? Still figuring out the stealth mechanics.

I have all three of the extended version soundtracks. Approximately 11 hours of pure bliss! The Nazgul leitmotif chills my bones every time I listen to it.
