All stats are calculated at current dominion values, but HP is the only stat that tracks a current and a max value which can diverge.

Eh, other blesses (except for astral) have minor effects that stack with everything, whereas the A bless is always simply *worse* than casting arrow fend, unless you're truly crazy and go for A10....

More expensive and incurable just raises the luck factor of what chassis types you end up with and what afflictions they come with. Tarts are a needed end game balance mechanism to unlock magic paths...

charm or enslave effects also get around the RoR/rebirth combo. except on a pretender. use an elixir of life for a truly untouchable overlord since it doesn't care about fatigue.

I think wrathful is basically a lot of lightning bolts, so a hit unit with human HP will likely be one-shotted, but I think only 1 unit in the square will take the damage.

Opposition doesn't do damage though, and can be MR resisted, plus I think it takes S3 to cast and has short range. Not incredibly hard to pull off, but it's not "any astral at all will kill you dead"...
