Re: Q: Home hit with Misfortune +2 on 5th turn...

Ok it was probably more like turn 7-8 or so...but still quite early for such a bad event eh? Oh well. I'll restart anyway because of a few other things I've learned in these past few hours (and I'm...

Re: Q: Home hit with Misfortune +2 on 5th turn...

Well I don't remember the exact name of the event unfortunately, but it's caused 2 of the "Misfortune" icons to be added to my Home Province. I don't know if it's only temporary. And I think my...

Re: Q: Home hit with Misfortune +2 on 5th turn...

Re: How is "R'lyeh" pronounced?

the "R" is pronounced as in "Grrrrr" with a "lee-yeh" for the ending part.

In addition, the "lee-yeh" part has a kind of "snap" to the ending "yeh" part which is pronounced much as an Aussie would...

Q: Home hit with Misfortune +2 on 5th turn...

...should I just start my new game over again or is this just a "fluke" temporary infliction?

Re: Is there an "Undead Nation"

Thanks for the answers gents. I wonder -- does the AI manage this race well (Ermor)? The tactics in the book look like it's rather rough even for a human player (therefore I must try it sometime...

Is there an "Undead Nation"

...playable? I didn't notice one besides a "Vampire-ish" one. I'm thinking about Zombie Hordes here. Maybe a modded race?

Thanks!

I tried pretty much all of the various settings except for Win95 and...

Re: Newbie Questions: Leaders & Terrain &&&

Just great info gents.

I wonder if I'm too bold in asking if there is a mod that does things like provide for defense bonuses for defenders in forest/mountains or opposite side of rivers --...

If I put a leader with a large force on "Patrol" and that province is attacked, is there a defensive hit for being on Patrol (as opposed to just "awaiting an attack"?

Re: Newbie Question: Attack Benefit

My Archers set to hit his, massacred them. While my Heavy Inf sat back for a turn or 2 -- I still worry on the friendly fire they took. Does this become a larger factor in "huge" battles? Would...

Re: Newbie Question: Attack Benefit

More great info. I still wonder though, is my starting "Fortified City" the only one of it's kind I will have in the game unless I capture from another player?
