You should be fine if the game folder is in the same place as your other savedgames. \dominions3\savedgames\Freshmeat is the destination folder to your saved game, not the filename.

If I was 100% sure of who cast the ritual I would probably consider the NAP to be obsolete. But in the case Xietor described, casting 40 rain of toads isn't being sneaky, that's clearly an act of war.

My pretender just got killed in a MP game by a hunter of heroes one turn after I got horror marked. Then he got attacked by a horror again on the turn he was called back. Wonder what he he to get...

No problem. Toby was attacked by a Horror who calls himself the Hunter of Heroes. I think commanders can get horror marks if they kill a lot of people or get very powerful.
