At work and can't remember if frost brand loses it's ap effect on cr opponents ("straight up" damage only)? Afaik I think so...

While I have you... I was curious to see Zmeys have a max age of 50. Is that intentional to make them a bit vulnerable to even low level aging spells? ...

Berserk comes.to mind. The amulet of lycanthropy and berserk armor will work. Touch of madness and growing fury on the spell side.

There is a "better independents" mod that (iirc) keeps the AI from building and attacking you with swarms of crappy, starving units.
