yeah, one way links would allow for all sorts of hijinks. i don't know how the links are implemented in the game, but all of the schemes i can think of could easily be modified to enable one-way...

i wasnt using any of those precalced ones. what happened i think was that i just started using powers of 2 rather than looking at the chart. so those values are now fixed. missed the fourth hand...
