Ok - thanks for clearing that up :) I guess part of these differences are due to the fact that some of the scenarios are from really early versions of the game too.... I don't see why anyone would...

Seems that the unit F0 (pluton HQ) is missing a rifle for some reason.

Also the platoon leaders in the core are mixed in some cases but this is easily corrected with the new fix feature.

There are often more differences between the "right click" -window and the following "information" -window than just unit price. Sometimes these two screens have differences with regard to weapons...

I was wondering the same thing when I bought the physical CD version, and I don't think it is possible. You just have to stick to the freeversion for the time being :)
