Odd, when I did a search of "save game" earlier today that thread didn't appear.

I did see the thread about planned fixes for future patches, and there was no mention of fixing this problem. ...

You could also carry extra population in a transport that has a colony module and cargo bays, thereby giving the colony a big boost at the start. I'll have to try this.

Save game error

For the past few days I've had some problems with occasionally some savegames contained errors and could not be loaded. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas what causes it?

I too have noticed that the speed with which ships movw varies from session to session even though settings remain the same. Funny, I had been thinking about mentioning this phenomenon on the board....
