OT: Gots me a new monitor!
Picked up a Hyundai B70A 17" flat screen monitor yesarday for $200.00. So far its seems ok. It has one dead pixel that I can find, and the drivers are not compatible with XP according to Windows XP.
However, I might keep it, or replace it because of the bad pixel, but from what I hear, you get a dead pixel or three with every flat screen you buy.

Well, when you do the math, at 1280x1024, you've got less than "one in a million" dead pixels... That's pretty good.
Whereabouts is the pixel, anyways? If its in the middle it will be a bit more annoying than one at the outer edge.

Did you read the instructions? Most of the newer LCD don't need you to install any software. The driver that came with the LCD is probably just for win 9X.

Windows installed the default monitor driver, the same one used with my 19" one. Looked like crap.

It's an LCD. Of course it looks like crap.
My twin Sony 20" CRT's are unequalled in this galaxy
(Meh, who needs desk-space anyway? It's overrated.)

Farcry looks just amazing. Althought, Farcry was just an amazing looking game anyways. Farcry Demo Well worth the time to download and play just to see it. Was the best FPS game of the Year in my honest opinion, beating out HL2 and Doom3.
