101st Airborne MPlayer

Larsen and I played a little bit but it seems when we had more than 3 on each side it would take a long time for each side to get it's turn? Anyone have any hints or help for us?
It seems to crash a lot after each persons turn which is very strange. I have a router which we think causes a problem is there anyway to go past the router with out disconnecting it (Router has built in firewall).
