Playing vs AI with > 2000 race points

If I bump up the number of race points available, will the default AI races change accordingly? IE is there a 2000, 3000, and 5000 point Version of each? Or would I end up with an unfair advantage?

If you are adding the races manually, and the EMP file isn't named "EEE 5000" or somesuch, then it is probably a 2000 point file.

If you let the computer add them randomly, then they will use all the extra points.
