Doing some of my own. Things noted (solutions?):

1-AI sent an escort out before it was finished retrofitting or repairing (not sure which)...doh!

2-All the kamikaze designs do not have any weapons or warheads....??? guess I need the warhead research done earlier?

3-It builds fighters like mad!

Well game 1 the Red Gauntlet and Piudon (sp) squeezed them like a zit on a teens face.

Game two:

These sob's breed like flies...colony ships galore!

and researching like mad too (culture is merchant...go figure).

They have fighters but won't build carriers this time, even though they in a knock-down war with Xi'Chung...

I should have this shipset/race-style ready in a week. Testing is going well, if slow.
