to be able to deselect a unit (perhaps with a keyboard shortcut). If a unit has to be always selected, perhaps have it to select a specific unit when doing the deselection, for example HQ, but without focusing the map/camera on said unit.

It'd be nice to be able to deselect a unit by clicking on it again or something similar.
