Newbie Question - Holy indicator

Hi,

I've been playing with Man recently and I've noticed the holy indicator in the recruitment screen. Most of the time the indicator is 3, so I can only recruit 3 holy units. Sometimes it goes up to 4 but i have no idea why ?
Does anybody know on which parameters this indicator depends and how I can augment it ?

It depends on your dominion strength, which is set when creating a pretender. Building lots of temples also increases it, one for every five temples I think.

Dont forget to rise it when you construct your god by the way, it is sometime overlooked by new players.
