1.41 happiness bug

In a game I am playing right now I selected bloodthirsty as my happiness type. I established a partnership treaty with another empire and got a message that my happiness INCREASED due to the treaty.

I have Urban Pacifictation Centers in all my systems, but that treaty should still cause my race to grow less happy, shouldn't it?

I do believe that is the basis of the bloodthirsty trait. Has anyone tested these traits to see if they actually work correctly? It could be something that is a bug.

i have a bloodthirsty race in a game that was upgraded from 1.30 to 1.41

i signed 3 partnerships and got a notice that my morale went down, like it should.

Puke, that is what has been happening up until this game. Maybe it is just the UPC's working...
