Is it possible to delete a formation after the
Is it possible to delete a formation/units CORE, after the end of the first battle in a PBEM campaign? In a campaign I play with another guy I have bought some off map artillery that we agreed to not do (I forgot), and while it was ok to not use them for a single battle, I don't want to keep not using them for the rest of the war. Apart from upgrading them to another unit, which would be like buying a new unit, is it possible to either just remove them and get some of those points back, or at least just delete them? I tried through the Change button but it wouldn't let me.

yes, in the upgrade/repair screen. Click on the formation in the formation listing and answer "Y" to the "delete core formation Y/N" question.

Yes Confirmed, I'm the guy, and it's how I resurrected my forces for our next battle. A little imaginative trade offs to crush the Imperialist Forces holding Africa under its thumb!! |

I still can't figure out why Greece fights China in Africa.Oil?

When you say in the upgrade/repair screen, do you mean the first screen that you see with your units after a battle is over? So I click on a unit to change it, go to the upgrade/change screen and there I click on it again to remove it?

Re: Is it possible to delete a formation after the
campaign upgrade screen -> click on expand core (to see the force list on the RHS of the screen) -> click on an existing core formation in the listing -> Answer Y to the delete Y/N question.
(that allows the purchasing of new core with any saved points)

Or, beginning of a battle Purchase troops screen -> click on a core formation in the listing -> answer the delete existing core Y/N -> formation deleted, points added for support only.

Ah! Thank you! I will do it after this battle. I still have those worthless (due to agreenment not to use them) off map artillery and it is a waste of money.

Re: Is it possible to delete a formation after the
Premise is in the not too far future, Western interests and Chinese virtual ownership of African resources collides. Greece is part of a motley-national force trying to shutdown a number of puppet regimes which have cut off the West their resources.
The US long embroiled in the Middle East, has left this job to other Allies under the brand new NATO replacement WOSECTO (World Security Treaty Organisation). Under this Treaty, the shiny new WSF has been activated at the request of 6 African WOSECTO members. Greece is part of the World Security Force deployed.

NOTE NOTE Wdll REF your Arty problem

If you want and promise to convert them to onboard next battle you can use them.

OR if you'd like, we restart this puppy, remember this style of PBEM game is new to both of us.

Maybe you prefer off-board, I'll fight either way. In have another game going where off board is limited to 12 tubes and whatever you deem reasonable onboard. So we could do both. |
