				 Chechnya
What happened to them? They seemed to have disappeared in 2001 in the new patch. The OOB still goes out to 2020 but there is a blank flag on the opening screen now... |

The Chechen Republic of Ichkeria ( which is what the OOB represents ...) effectively cease to exist by May 2000 |

				 Re: Chechnya
In the GG - National Availability Dates listing is "70 Chechnya 11/1990 5/2000" and this is how the flag / availability is on the battle / campaign screen.
Chechnya was absorbed back into the Russian Federation at the end of the 2nd Chechen war in May 2000. The 9 year insurgency following this event could be simulated with a Russia Vs Mujahideen or Red, I guess.

However, you are correct in that the OOB does have units available after this date

				 Re: Chechnya
Is it possible to have them back since it is an open spot anyways? I play Russia in the Caucasus quite a bit. Or maybe have the Mujaheddin OOB use maps there if picked against Russian? |

				 Re: Chechnya
It make NO sense to go through over a couple hundred units and formations just to reset the end date to 5/00 when the game is going to shut down access to it in code and the reason it's shutting it down is the insurgency that inspired the addition of the nation in the first place( name another game that did ) no longer exists just like East Germany

156 and 44 are the common batlocs used for Chechen battles and it's easily enough entered while setting up a Mujahadeen battle ( or red ) |

				 Re: Chechnya
Map descriptions and numbers can be found in Game Data / Design ------> Battle_Locations.txt but keep in mind they change by season / arid / savannah / jungle etc modifiers and the multitude of random factors we built in to make sure the same thing does come up time after time but this list gives a general idea what they were originally intended to represent so 41 and 44 give "Caucusas" ish maps you might like 187 as well. 183 is one of my favourites
