what do you think? (sp game i started)
i started up a new SP game, 5000 racial points, full ai bonus, difficulty, and...gave myself rock hydrogen. so far, it's turn 56 and i have 14 planets. there's not to many rock hydrogen. i'm also not going to exploit the ai. intel on to.

BTW:
You really need to colonize all those small worlds too. If nothing else, they can be used as maintenance free shipyards.

Hehe... Last time I tried that... I didn't Last too long.
Good Luck. Full AI with Full difficulty is quite err... difficult.

How big of a universe do you have? That game should be half way easy if you are in a large map. If you are in small or medium it will be hard. Also, are you using TDM AI?

large map, and i have classic, so i think i can do it as long as i don't get a serious attack. i'm at t&r with the only nieghbor i've found so far, but we all know how quickly that can change

Yah. You can pull that one off. Last time I tried it I was on a medium standard map with TDM mod and my closest neighbors where the Orks, Vikings and Xi'Chung.

Large map with classic, you should be able to pull that off. Or wait, large in default settings is only 100 systems. I'm thinking FQM where large is 255 systems. 
Well, it will be a bit tougher then. But I still think you can get it.
