I was watching TV today and saw an ad for www.eharmony.com and decided to take their free personallity test.

Eharmony boasts that they the have hundreds of thousands of people using their services so I figure what the hell, I'll give it a shot.

After spending the Last hour answering their question truthfully, I get this message.

eHarmony is based upon a complex matching system developed through extensive testing of married individuals. One of the requirements for it to work successfully is for participants to fall into our rigorously defined profiles. If we aren't able to match a user well using these profiles, the most considerate approach is to inform them early in the process.

We are so convinced of the importance of creating compatible matches to help people establish and enjoy happy, Lasting relationships that we choose not to provide service rather than risk an uncertain match.

Unfortunately, we are not able to make our profiles work for you. Our matching system is not suitable for about 20% of potential Users, so 1 in 5 people simply would not benefit from our service. We hope that you understand that we regret our inability to provide service for you at this time.

I don't know if I should laugh or cry. But this is the story of my life.... LOL

I go back and redo the test and lie a bit here and their and presto I have 100's of matches. Most of the women are looking for rich super male models who are easily controlled, faithful, and willing to spend millions on them. I guess I don't fit that bill.

Take the test, use a fake email though, and see how well you do.

I will give them this, their personality profile is pretty much spot on though.

OK this half way through. this better provide some amusing results. Although I'm stumped on how to answer wether "Eating" is an interest of mine.

Most of the women are looking for rich super male models who are easily controlled, faithful, and willing to spend millions on them. I guess I don't fit that bill.

To be fair, most men I know wouldn't mind finding a rich female supermodel who is easily controlled, faithful and willing to spend millions on them. The difference is, perhaps, that men are more willing to settle for less.

Consider the Last year, and answer the following questions:

1) When someone calls you for dinner do you think:
a) "Yay, food!"
or
b) "Mmm, I wonder what kinds of spices and herb are in this?"

2) How many times a week do you pull out a cookbook?

3) How long was your longest streak of eating the same thing in a row for some particular meal?
