Graeme (or anyone else): do you know if/by how much the likelihood of getting an affliction is reduced in regard to the power of regeneration (that is, some units regen 2 hp/rnd, while some 50) -- is the 10 times less likely to get afflictions constant over all regen types or improved with improved regeneration?

The 10 times doesn't depend on the amount of regeneration at all. The chance of getting an affliction is: damage taken/base hitpoints, divide by 10 if regenerating, add 0.25 if cursed.
