Religious Tech Analysis - Does This Work?

When playing with another religious ally: if your ally supplies a ship for technology trade with multiple talismans, would you receive lower levels of religious technology upon analysis? for example, would a ship with two talismans advance the analyzer with low religious tech two levels?

Sure would like to know this for one of my games right now...
