Problems with fortification deployment

Howdy,

I haven't had any luck at deploying forts. When I purchace and deploy them I set their facing to cover my desired arcs. When I save and play the scenario they all face due east (or west)and not in the direction I faced them. What am I doing wrong? I searched the postings and instructions with no luck.
